HIHN Don, CAPT, USN (Ret) On Sept 16th, 2002 age 77. He was formerly the CO of NWS Charleston, then head of ORD-543 (Mine Warfare Office) in Washington but was most notorious as the head of the Dirty Dozen inspection team that went to the Pacific to inspect/prep mine sites, leading to the mining of Haiphong Harbor, which brought the US/VC/VCN peace talks to a conclusion, ending the Vietnam "conflict".
