Obituary of Charles C. KIRCHNER
HYNDMAN - Charles Calvin KIRCHNER, 80, died Saturday in Bedford County
Memorial Hospital. Born in Hyndman, he was a son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Daniel KIRCHNER. Mr. KIRCHNER was a member of Hyndman Evangelical
United Brethren Church. Surviving are his widow, Lucretia (FAIT)
KIRCHNER; four children, Mrs. Anna STUBY, Cumberland; Mrs. Janet
R. BARNES and Charles M. KIRCHNER, both of Frederick, and Mrs. Marlene
SWAUGER, Buffalo Mills; two brothers, Luther and Daniel KIRCHNER,
both of Nantiglo; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude FITZPATRICK, Ellerslie;
Mrs. Bertha MESSENGER, New York, and Pearl, Ebensburg; eight
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The body is at the
Zeigler Funeral Home where friends will be received from 3 to 4 p.m.
and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted there tomorrow at 2 p.m.
by Rev. Charles EVANS and burial will be in Hyndman Cemetary.

"William Charles FAIT, lifelong farmer in Londonderry township, died Sunday
October 26, 1952, after a lingering illness. He was born January 15, 1869 near
Buffalo Mills, and maintained his residence in that community almost his entire
life. He was the son of John and Catherine (HUFFMAN) FAIT. He was united in
marriage with Henrietta HUFFMAN, who preceeded him in death 14 years ago.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter; Mrs. Charles KIRCHNER of Hyndman, Russell
FAIT and Lawrence FAIT of Buffalo Mills, Rt. 1. He was a member of the Lybarger
Lutheran Church, and of the P.O.S. of A. of Bard. Funeral services at Zeigler
Funeral Home in Hyndman at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, with the Rev. James
M. SHARF officiating. Interment in Milligans Cove Cemetery"
