Man charged with breaking into cars at high school

GREENSBORO — A 42-year-old Greensboro man was charged with breaking into cars parked at Smith High School, police said today.

James Watkins Neal III broke into four cars in the high school parking lot at Veasley Street and Vanstory Street on Thursday, Greensboro police said. He also damaged them, police said.

Neal, of 2324 Glenhaven Drive, was charged with possession of stolen property, four counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and two counts of larceny of a motor vehicle.

Neal is being held at the Guilford County Jail under a $10,000 bond, police said.
