I am writing to ask that you support America's Redrock Wilderness Act. I have hiked
and camped in Utah's BLM canyon country for many years.  These are areas of
incomparable beauty. [Give an example of your experience in Utah and why it's

Utah has the largest and most pristine unprotected wilderness remaining in the
lower 48 states -- land characterized by abundant life, and the rugged beauty of
mesas, canyons, and fragile aridity. America's Redrock Wilderness Act would protect
this spectacular landscape as important habitat for wildlife and safeguard it for
future generations to enjoy.

America's Redrock Wilderness Act is the Utah citizens' proposal.  It enjoys the
support of Utahns, of people across the nation and throughout the world.  I hope
you will call and join [Rep. Maurice Hinchey or Sen. Richard Durbin] and support
America's Redrock Wilderness Act.
