Re:          Spring 2008 Soccer Season

Soon we begin our 2008 Spring season of soccer at Sara Lee, BB&T Complex, Hine Park and other fields.   I will be assigning for the Classic and Challenge programs of the Twin City Youth Soccer Association (TCYSA), Team Alliance Soccer Club (TASC).  I will also be assigning for several other leagues, including several Adult leagues.  Your help is being solicited for matches on Saturday’s and Sunday’s for all leagues for which I assign.

Classic/Challenge matches begin in February, adults will begin soon after that.  There will be lots of opportunities to ref this season, including several tournaments.

The pay scale for this season will be:

Classic:                                  Challenge:

U-12 and Down                   $32/18                                   $28/15

U13 & !4                               $38/23                                   $32/21

U16 & 15                              $44/29                                   $38/23

U17 & UP                              $50/35                                   $44/29

We will also be utilizing stand-by referees at assigned match times.  If you are given a stand-by and do not referee a match, you will be paid $10.  I will need to complete a form and mail to the appropriate league.  Payment will be forwarded to you within one week.

All referees who want to work this season need to contact me via  the Registration Form, which can be found on the my web under “Referee Forms” (click here to pull up the form).  Since a number of you are involved with your own teams and do not yet know your schedule, fill out the form as best you can, utilizing your knowledge of previous years.  I’ll make adjustments later.  I promise to be flexible.

Once I have received your sheets either by mail, fax, or e-mail, you will receive an email from me stating that I will be assigning you this season.  If not already in, you will be added to The Arbiter.  All assignments will be made thru the Arbiter.  You will also be required to maintain your own calendar thru the Arbiter.  Once you have committed to an assignment (via the Arbiter), it is suggested you not take another assignment without first contacting me.

You will receive your assignments each week; they will be posted on the arbiter and you must accept or decline those matches via The Arbiter.

I look forward to working with you this season and will do whatever I can to make it an enjoyable experience!  Thank you for your cooperation and timeliness in returning this information.
