Randy Watts (Alto Saxophone, Wind Synth, Acoustic & Electronic Percussion): Randy has been studying and playing music for the majority of his life, starting with the recorder in second grade and culminating with a minor in music from the College of William and Mary in 1995.  He has played in a variety of different groups, including rock, funk, and jazz bands, marching and concert bands, and saxophone quartets. He has also played in the pit orchestra of several musical productions.   

Among Randy's musical influences are John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Paul Desmond, Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, Traffic, The Grateful Dead, and Phish.  A recent musical highlight for him was performing with trumpeter John D'Earth at Randy's own wedding.  Randy and his wife, Nadia, live outside Chapel Hill.
