Gaming is great. Networking is great. Network gaming is as good as it gets.

What to Bring

Things to bring:

Computer- (See requirements here)

Money- $15 for the enterance and about $10 more for other stuff (See here for more info)

Chair- A nice folding chair of office chair should do nicely, I think I might have a few extra, but it's 1st come 1st serve, so don't count on it. Don't bring some HUGE reclining chair.

Arrange some transportation- If you don't have a car (or if the back right wheel sounds like it's gonna fall off), then find someone before you get here to give you a lift here and back.

Network cable- about 15-25 feet of CAT 5 will be ok. If you need some we might have some extra laying around, but you will probably have to make it yourself if you take that opition.

Speakers- You really need to hear the games to enjoy them.

More people- Tell me about them and have them register BEFORE the lan, they gotta bring stuff you are bringing too

Take a shower- This isn't really something to bring, but man take a shower before you get here, and somewhere in the middle, find somewhere to take another, we want to frag each other, not gag each other with BO.

Toothbrush- I hope i don't need to explain this one either

Sleeping bag and pillow- The hosts for the sleeping houses aren't gonna like it if you don't bring these. It's gonna be really cold to sleep too, remember it's WinterLan....

What NOT to bring-

I wish i didn't have to say these, but just in case...

Drugs, alcohol, etc- I am not against them, but they really don't have any place at this type of party. If that's the type of party you want, then I know of plenty of parties that will suit you just fine, but not this one.

Random people- I hate to do this, but don't bring people here without telling me about them. Part of the reason that I can have this is because it is all planned out. Suprizes are fun, but if 10 people come without me knowing about it... that's a problem

Some Online RPG that you are gonna play the whole time- Sorry guy, I love UO, I love EverQuest, but if you bring them, Don't just sit around and play them. You can do that at home just as well (or nearly as well if you don't have a broadband connection) as you can here. This is for playing with other people and having fun, not being anti-social. If we all had accounts, that would be fun to play together though.

Random girl/boyfriends that won't play games- If you want to bring someone, then bring them, I would like to know about it first. Just don't be off making out with that person the whole time. And get them to play the games as well. They need to bring a computer unless they are just stopping by for an hour or so, or if you want to let them use yours that's fine too.

Huge Annoying speakers- I guess this is somewhat hypocritical with me and my 12's and 15's up here, but if everyone did that we would all be deaf by the end of this. And if you have loud ones in your car, please don't pull in the driveway with it cranked up to 10, it rather disturbs my mother. Don't race down the street either, let the Treaty of Highberry apply to Ainsworth too ok?

Virii- Yea, NetBus was fun that one time at Ken's house, but the Chernobyle that appeared on some people's computers wasn't too fun *cough* *scan your system erick* *cough*
